Weekend Movie Recommendation
I’m surprised that I’d never seen this movie before. Caught it on late night t.v. and thought it’d be a good weekend movie recommendation for those who haven’t seen it yet. Go out and rent John Q, starring Denzel Washington and Robert Duvall. Really good story. Surprised that we don’t see things like this happening in “real life”.
John Quincy Archibald’s son Michael collapses while playing baseball as a result of heart failure. John rushes Michael to a hospital emergency room where he is informed that Michael’s only hope is a transplant. Unfortunately, John’s insurance won’t cover his son’s transplant. Out of options, John Q. takes the emergency room staff and patients hostage until hospital doctors agree to do the transplant.

I agree, this is a very good movie. Saw it quite awhile ago and then this week saw it was going to be on tv and watched it again.
