Basement Project Continues

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve done any work in the basement. The air conditioner going out has really put a damper on things. However, we did take some time this past weekend to finish framing in the stairway and hanging sheetrock. Now it’s ready for some mud, sanding, then paint. The upstairs hallway is nearing completion as well. All of the old texturing on the ceiling has been striped, the new light installed and prep work on the new sheetrock complete. Hopefully, we’ll be mudding the hallway and the stairway this weekend so we can get this big chunk of the project complete.
