31 Days Of Halloween Movies
Every year, we try to watch one horror movie a day leading up to Halloween. Each year we try to mix it up a little and watch something that we may have missed the previous year. So, since today officially kicks off our 31 days of Halloween movies, it’s time to dust off some dvd’s or make a trip to the movie rental store. And since Roman Polanski has been in the news a lot lately, we’ll start off with my all time favorite Roman Polanski flick:
Oct. 1st: Rosemary’s Baby (1968) – A young couple move into a new apartment, only to be surrounded by peculiar neighbors and occurrences. When the wife becomes mysteriously pregnant, paranoia over the safety of her unborn child begins controlling her life.

Oct. 2nd: It’s Alive (1974) – The Davies expect a baby, which turns out to be a monster with a nasty habit of killing when it’s scared. And it’s easily scared. Unfortunately, this was a great candidate for a remake and even more unfortunately, it was remade in 2008. This movie scared the piss out of me as a kid. The remake was a horrible disaster, not worth mentioning.

Oct. 3rd: The Exorcist (1973) – Something beyond comprehension is happening to a little girl on this street, in this house. A man has been called for as a last resort to try and save her. That man is The Exorcist. Can’t deny this as one of the best horror films of all time. The anniversary release a couple of years ago is the one to watch. It includes the staircase scene that we didn’t get to see for over 30 years.
