Lenora’s Birthday, Colby’s Homecoming

Today was Lenora’s birthday (Happy Birthday!) and Colby’s homecoming dance. All in all, just another busy day around the house. Cutting grass, cleaning out the dog pen, sanding the utility room to get it ready for another coat of joint compound, getting new tires on the front of the HHR, putting out Halloween decorations, etc., etc., etc. The list goes on and on. After battling poison ivy for 2 weeks, I also managed to cut out about 90% of what was left of the plant that caused me so much havoc. I’ll let winter take care of the rest and if that doesn’t do it, I cut out the rest well before next spring. I’ve still got 2 more days of medication to take for the poison ivy, but it has finally dried up and is going away. I never want to have it that bad again. So tomorrow promises to be just as busy. The early autumn weather is just too good of an opportunity to get some things done around the house.
