More Muddin’

Lenora spent most of the day applying a second coat of compound to the utility room. We’re hoping to have this room completely finished by winter and at the pace we’re going, it shouldn’t be a problem. A good sanding, another coat of compound, more sanding, then it’ll be ready to paint. Yesterday, I worked on the recycled cabinets that will go into the utility room once the drywall is complete. She also got the first coat of compound on the stairway to the basement. The first place to see where the old meets the new. The stairway leads to the upstairs hallway that has also been stripped, new light fixture installed and the old entry to the kitchen enclosed.
